What you will do. As an Absenteeism Case Manager, you are the director of the absenteeism process. You monitor the progress of files, advise employers, and encourage employees towards a sustainable return to work. Your responsibilities include:
- Guiding and monitoring employee absenteeism processes.
- Determining the right course within the absenteeism process, together with employers and employees.
- Implementing and monitoring appropriate interventions to promote recovery.
- Advising employers on social security, claims management, and absenteeism issues.
- Maintaining contact with employees and motivating and activating them during the reintegration process.
- Identifying stagnation and discussing difficult situations when necessary.
- Collaborating with company doctors, occupational experts, and other involved professionals.
- Coordinating with reintegration coaches and determining when additional guidance is desirable.
- Carefully maintaining files and monitoring legal deadlines and administrative processes.
Profile
You are at the beginning of your career and want to develop yourself within the field of absenteeism. You are a strong communicator, know how to maintain an overview, and dare to take responsibility. Additionally, you possess:
- A completed HBO bachelor's degree (higher professional education).
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience in a business environment, for example within HR, absenteeism, or the flexible employment sector.
- The willingness to follow and successfully complete the HBO-accredited courses "Regie op Verzuim" and "Regie op Ziektewet".
- A proactive work attitude and the ability to set priorities.
- Empathy combined with a critical and analytical perspective.
- Accuracy and stress resistance, even when the workload increases.
- The ambition to further develop yourself in case management.
