As a Caregiver IG, you can work within a healthcare organization, either intramurally or extramurally (in the community). You are a proactive person who enjoys teamwork and is willing to take on extra tasks. Together with your team, you support clients in their daily care.
What you do
- You ensure that clients take their medication and perform necessary nursing technical actions when required.
- You draw up individual care plans, in consultation with the client, their informal caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team.
- With your empathy, you know how to stimulate people, for example, to engage in activities they are still capable of doing.
