The assignment involves the development of Android applications in Kotlin, for a large organization.
What you do
- Developing Android applications in Kotlin, with perfect mastery of the language (solid Java fundamentals ideally)
- Designing modern interfaces with Jetpack Compose, while remaining comfortable with classic XML Layouts
- Advanced use of Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous management
- Fluent use of the Android Jetpack suite (ViewModel, Navigation, Room, WorkManager) and dependency management via Gradle (KTS)
- Using Android Profiler for performance optimization
- Applying MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture patterns, as well as SOLID principles and Google best practices
- Consuming REST/JSON APIs (Retrofit, OkHttp, Serialization) and integrating third-party SDKs
- Continuous deployment (GitLab-CI, Bitrise, Firebase App Distribution, Fastlane)
- Dependency injection, unit tests (JUnit, MockK), UI tests (Espresso), and code reviews, with attention to detail on Material Design
- Participating in Agile methodologies, with the ability to popularize complex technical concepts for Product and Design teams
