Construction Coordinator

Approximately 45 housing projects are underway in a penitentiary institution.

You connect the primary process, users, and construction partners.
You ensure that projects are carried out safely, carefully, and with minimal disruption.
The institution is a strategic location with approximately 700 cells and over 1,200 employees.
Construction and renovation work is constantly taking place to improve the quality of living, working, and safety.
As a construction coordinator, you ensure that these projects align well with the daily practice within the institution.

What you do

Make the wishes and needs of the primary process and users transparent during project meetings.
Take into account laws and regulations, the program of requirements, financial frameworks, and (fire) safety.
Act as an important link between the institution and contractors during execution.
Ensure that external parties are aware of internal rules and agreements.
Communicate what the primary process needs to continue performing daily work as effectively as possible.
Work closely with other construction coordinators and a government real estate company.

HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
Experience with construction, housing, or similar projects.
Affinity with technology.
Strong communication skills and ability to connect different interests.
Results-oriented and solution-focused.
Flexible and willing to work occasionally outside regular working hours if required.

A motivation letter is required.
A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required upon a positive outcome of the application procedure.
If the required working and thinking level cannot be demonstrated with a diploma, it will be assessed with an aptitude test.
