SharePoint Administrator

You will join the Information Systems unit of a European institution as an experienced SharePoint Administrator.

• You will take ownership of on-premise SharePoint environments across their full lifecycle.

What you will do.

• Design, implement and maintain SharePoint Subscription Edition farms, with high availability and performance in mind.
• Install, configure and upgrade SharePoint environments and their components.
• Administer and monitor Windows Server environments so they integrate properly with the SharePoint architecture.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management and troubleshooting.
• Keep environments secure and compliant: best practices, security infrastructure and backups.
• Analyse and resolve performance, connectivity and access issues.
• Provide technical support, write documentation and train end users and stakeholders.
• Keep up with Microsoft best practices, patches and updates.

What they ask

• Proven experience designing, installing and maintaining SharePoint 2016/2019 farms.
• Strong Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration skills.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Understanding of network security, authentication mechanisms and security protocols.
• Experience with site collection administration, user permissions and content management.
• Knowledge of SQL Server administration for SharePoint databases.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French or other EU languages are a plus.
