Work Planner for Trees

The Public Space Management department of a municipal organization is looking for a temporary tree advisor/work planner for trees. You will be part of the Green, Sports and Play team and contribute to maintaining the desired level of outdoor space.

What you will do.

• Specialist in the field of maintenance and advice on tree-related issues.
• Translates established management plans and maintenance contracts into concrete activities.
• Prepares work descriptions.
• Ensures that contractors perform work in accordance with the contract.
• Advises residents on handling complaints, reports, questions, or initiatives.
• Involved in handling specific technical matters:
• Assessing felling applications for private trees.
• Applying for felling permits for municipal trees.
• Translating tree safety control (BVC) results into measures to be taken.
• Purchasing planting material for replacement trees and plantings.
• Assessing emergency felling and/or other corrective tree maintenance.
• Preparing and assessing tree advice, including tree impact reports.
• Preparing and assessing reports for illegal felling.
• Providing substantive support and advice for legal processes concerning trees.
• Reviews public space design plans for management and implementation aspects (for more than 24 hours).
• Supports data processing of information in the municipal management system (for more than 24 hours).
• Prepares lists of measures for pruning and felling activities (for more than 24 hours).
