You literally step into the living world of families and help them regain their independence. You work with families in their own environment, spread across the province. You work independently, but can always rely on your colleagues and the basic team.
What you will do.
- Conduct home visits, build a relationship of trust, and work together on sustainable change.
- Look at the strengths and opportunities within the family, not just the problems.
- Teach families new skills and actively practice them with them in their own environment.
- Guide families with complex issues who want to progress independently.
- Connect, motivate, and make goals concrete with families.
- Work with different family dynamics and respond to individual needs.
- Write care plans, report on successes and challenges.
- Support families with various requests for help.
- Work methodically and purposefully to strengthen families and increase their self-reliance.
- Utilize knowledge of the social map and youth and family services.
- Engage other expertise when necessary.
Profile
- Completed HBO bachelor's degree in an agogic field (e.g., Social Work or Pedagogy). A university degree in Orthopedagogy may also be suitable, possibly supplemented with a practical program.
- SKJ registered (or immediately registrable).
- Possess a driving license and own transport, willing to travel throughout the province for work.
- Have a Christian faith and be able to state what this means to you.
- Independent and entrepreneurial type with creativity and a strong personality.
- Able to handle complex situations well, dare to make decisions, and remain calm under pressure.
Practical
- You work from a business office or hybrid from home.
- Flexible working hours, including evening visits if necessary.
- Collaboration within a basic team.
