As a financial advisor and researcher, you combine research with connecting various public entities. The assignment focuses on finding suitable financing instruments for collective digital services.
What you will do.
- Research into possible financing instruments for collective digital security proposals.
- Elaborate suitable financing structures per proposal.
- Develop scenarios and advice in reports.

Profile
Your workplace is within a team focused on digital collaboration, where you work on strategy and collectivization from the perspective of digital security. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments, including Business Support, Finance, and policy teams for Digital Security, AI, and Cloud.
Your direct colleagues focus on the general digitalization strategy within public entities and the challenges in the field of digital security, with an emphasis on collaboration between governments and a joint approach to digitalization issues. You will also work intensively with a quartermaster for digitalization financing and an advisor/researcher for governance.
What they ask
- Minimum completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- At least five years of demonstrable work experience in finance within a municipal or intergovernmental context.
- At least three years of demonstrable work experience with (organizational) research.
- At least three years of demonstrable work experience with developing and/or assessing financial constructions and financing models.
- At least three years of demonstrable work experience with advising and/or collaborating with public entities and/or intergovernmental organizations in the field of finance.
- Agreement with the stated secondment conditions.
Preferences.
- Experience with (intergovernmental) financing constructions.
- Experience with setting up financing structures for new public organizations (not an advisory role).
