A government organization is developing a new digital service to make relevant information accessible and support involved parties in the implementation of European regulations.
- The new service is very similar to an existing application, so good collaboration and coordination are essential to leverage synergy and avoid duplication of work.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, test, and set up software for the new digital service.
- Contribute to technical choices and innovations.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and test it carefully.
- Ensure that the various components within the OTAP environments function reliably and communicate correctly with internal and external systems.
- Set up and operationalize various applications running in a Kubernetes cluster.
- Automate the monitoring and surveillance of services.
- Participate in a Scrum team and continuously improve our services and way of working.
- Coordinate with the team of the existing application to promote coherence and prevent duplicate work.
Profile
- You are comfortable with developing, managing, and maintaining applications.
- You actively contribute to technical choices and innovations.
- You work in a Scrum team and help continuously improve services and working methods.
What they ask
- Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
- Completed (bachelor) HBO education or higher.
- In the past 7 years, demonstrably performed work within complex systems (comparable to an existing chain) at a minimum of 2 different clients.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Java development.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience with Docker.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience with Kubernetes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a DevOps team.
Preferences.
- Approach and experience with the specific assignment of a government organization for a complex service or product.
- Insight into crucial bottlenecks that often occur in this type of work, along with how they are resolved.
