Therapist Forensic Mental Health

Do you want to make an impact on the lives of clients with complex psychiatric and forensic issues? As a Lead Therapist within a specialized FACT team, you play a central role in the recovery process of young people and adults who require specialized guidance and treatment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient treatment center.

What you will do.

• Responsible for managing the treatment trajectory.
• Serves as a fixed point of contact for clients, their relatives, and involved chain partners.
• Together with a multidisciplinary team (casemanagers, GZ psychologists, specialized nurses, psychiatrists, and art therapists), provides appropriate, effective, and recovery-oriented care.
• Engages in diagnostics, treatment, and evaluation of treatment trajectories.
• Works with proven treatment methodologies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), schema therapy, ACT, and trauma treatment.
• Utilizes forensic-oriented models such as the Good Lives Model (GLM) and the Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) model.
• Contributes to sustainable change by paying attention to the person behind the problem and their living environment.
• Works outreach where necessary and maintains close contact with involved network partners (reintegration services, neighborhood teams, schools, and other mental health organizations) to ensure continuity and safety of care.
