With over 1200 employees, care and support are offered to individuals with psychological vulnerabilities. The department focuses on (young) adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and additional psychological and/or behavioral problems, treating 60 clients in an open admission unit.
You will be part of a dedicated team that daily makes a difference for clients with complex care needs.
What you do
- Responsible for shaping the treatment and involving the context.
- Guiding and supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and additional psychiatric and behavioral problems.
- Coordinating, together with the interdisciplinary team, a tailored ortho-agogical treatment offer for each patient.
- Working closely with other departments within the intellectual disability cluster.
- Actively involving the context in the treatment.
What they ask
- Master's degree in orthopedagogy or clinical psychology.
- Some experience or recently graduated; you will be coached by a professional team.
- Experience or internship in mental healthcare is a plus.
- Affinity with the integrative and holistic ortho-agogical approach and willingness to delve into it.
