Participation consultant youth desk with a focus on income

What you do
- Support young people with all their questions regarding finances, work, learning
- View income issues from the resident's context to arrive at broad solutions
- Ensure that the resident can dispose of the benefit correctly and timely and of the necessary financial provisions in a specific situation, if required
- Work closely with colleagues and partners within the social domain
- Assess and process applications for income support
- Process mutations, terminations
- Identify financial problems among young people and families
- Collaborate with youth consultants and other professionals within the social domain
- Provide information and advice on municipal regulations and national provisions
- Actively contribute to early detection and prevention of debts
- Prepare reports and advice based on socio-financial investigations
- Work independently and proactively, within the framework of the assignment and in consultation with colleagues
- Conversations with residents take place where necessary, which can be a home visit, an appointment at one of the organization's locations, with partners in the city, or by phone

What they ask
- A completed HBO bachelor's degree level education at minimum
- Demonstrable work experience within a government organization in a Dutch province
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable work experience with the implementation of income-related activities from the Participation Act
Preferences.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as an income and legality consultant
- Demonstrable work experience with independently managing a caseload in the past 2 years
- Demonstrable work experience with Suite 4 Sociaal Domein applications
- A completed HBO bachelor's degree level education in the field of Social Work, SJD
- The candidate introduces themselves in a short (personal) motivation and explains why they are suitable for this assignment. The motivation must be written by the candidate themselves
