Job Classification Specialist

• You analyze job descriptions and weigh functions according to the Korn Ferry Hay methodology.
• You work in tandem with a colleague and discuss weighings using the four-eyes principle.
• You subtly substantiate why a function reaches a certain level and clearly explain small differences.
• You help to complete current and subsequent weighing rounds on time.
• You contribute ideas for improvements in the job classification process.

Possible second assignment: Equal Pay.

• You can support the follow-up of the Equal Pay project.
• You coordinate actions for Belgium, follow the group program, and report on outstanding decisions and progress.
• You link the Belgian approach with that of the international group.

What they ask

• Direct, in-depth experience with job weighing according to Korn Ferry Hay is crucial.
• You can weigh independently and act as a content sparring partner.
• You have previously weighed functions yourself with the Korn Ferry Hay methodology and can substantively defend your assessments.
• You can critically read job descriptions and carefully translate differences in responsibilities, impact, and complexity into a weighing.
• You work accurately and quickly enough to support multiple weighing rounds within short deadlines.
• You can constructively consult with a colleague and arrive at a well-substantiated joint judgment.
• For the possible Equal Pay component, structured project work, follow-up, and reporting are important.
• Experience in a large retail or logistics organization is relevant due to the context, but immediate mastery of Korn Ferry Hay is paramount.

Languages.

• Dutch is generally the working language within HR.
• Your direct colleague for the weighings is French-speaking and also speaks good English.
• Communication with the international group usually takes place in English.
• You must be able to explain your reasoning about job weighings clearly and nuancedly to your interlocutors.
