As a Business Controller at an energy infrastructure organization, you will directly contribute to the financial and operational management of essential energy infrastructure. The terminal is preparing for extended deployment, and your expertise will help make choices, risks, and dependencies financially transparent. You will work within Business Control in collaboration with project teams and various stakeholders.
You will connect financial information with operational, commercial, and project-related developments. You will develop management information, support decision-making, and help further professionalize governance, risk management, and processes.
What you will do.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses for choices, risks, and dependencies.
- Prepare and coordinate management reports and analyze results, deviations, and trends.
- Develop forecasts, budgets, business plans, and business cases.
- Prepare for annual account audits and support audit-related issues.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards for progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Connect financial insights to operational, commercial, and project-related developments.
- Advise on governance, compliance, internal control, and audit trail.
- Develop improvement proposals for processes, information provision, standardization, and quality assurance.
Profile
- A completed HBO or WO degree in business economics, finance, business administration, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business control, commercial control, or finance.
- Proven experience with forecasts, budgets, business plans, and financial modeling.
- Ability to translate financial and contractual issues into clear analyses and advice.
- Easily communicates with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accounting, cash flow, and risk & control is a plus.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
