For a strong, growing family business, specialized in the production and recycling of plastics and rubber, a driven Technical Operator is sought. You will join a company that produces raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, serving customers worldwide in various sectors. The extrusion department converts different types of plastic waste, such as regrind, powders, foils, and sprues, into new granules or pellets. These pellets then serve as raw material for plastic processing companies.
Within this department, materials are first cut, shredded, and suctioned, after which they are fed to the extrusion lines. As a Technical Process Operator, you will receive step-by-step training to get to know the entire installation.
What you will do.
- Operate machines and installations correctly and safely
- Hang up and open big bags for further processing
- Report deviations or malfunctions in a timely manner to the team leader or department head
- Perform daily sample collections, in collaboration with the department head and/or the lab
Profile
- Several years of experience as an operator in a production environment
- In possession of a forklift certificate, or willing to obtain it through the company
- Not afraid of physical work
- Technical insight and eager to learn
- Willing to work in a 3-shift system (early, late, night)
- Sufficient command of the Dutch language to work safely, accurately, and according to procedures
