What you do
- You train students who will later work in social care and social work.
- You teach students how visual arts and creative design can contribute to well-being, self-confidence, encounter, participation, and personal development.
- You inspire students to purposefully apply creativity in their future professional practice, for example, in art activities in community centers or creative workshops for various target groups.
- You provide inspiring lessons in Visual Arts & Creative Design.
- You develop students' creativity and teach them to apply it professionally.
- You connect art, culture, well-being, and social issues.
- You develop contemporary and practice-oriented education.
- You guide students in projects, assignments, and their personal development.
- You collaborate with colleagues and external partners from the cultural and social domain.
- You translate your professional knowledge and practical experience into inspiring and meaningful lessons.
Profile
- Preferably, a first or second-degree teaching qualification.
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
- Passion for visual arts, creativity, and education.
- Demonstrable practical experience within the creative and/or visual sector.
- Affinity with young people and MBO education.
- Eye for societal developments and personal growth.
- Gets energy from creating, experimenting, and guiding students in their creative process.
- Collegial and values the connection between theory and practice.
- Interest in guiding students as a trajectory supervisor and internship supervisor.
- Enthusiastic, involved, and positive, able to motivate and challenge students.
- Opportunity to obtain a second-degree qualification if not yet possessed.
