Ambulatory Counselor

• You work at a community center, from home, or at clients' homes, depending on the care needs.
• You focus on the daily lives of independently living individuals, individually or in a group.
• You ensure a safe environment and adapt to the client's needs.
• You work on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM and on Saturday mornings.
• The role also involves duties at a sheltered living facility.
• You are responsible for the quality of support, together with a Supportive Residential Counselor and a Professional Team Supporter.
• Core tasks:
• Provide guidance to clients with psychological/psychiatric vulnerability in their own living environment.
• Develop a guidance plan with the client based on municipal decisions.
• Co-manage the client's recovery process.
• Be responsible with the team for the outcome, quality of guidance, expertise, and development.

What they ask

• Minimum completed MBO 4 education in healthcare, with HBO working and thinking level.
• Demonstrable experience in mental healthcare (GGZ).
• Knowledge of psychopathology.
• A network within (and outside) the social map.
• An eye for opportunities and possibilities to seek solutions involving the client, their network, or chain partners.
• The ability to build client trust.
• Patience, perseverance, and alertness.
• Experience working with a PC and other digital communication tools, such as an iPad.
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
• This is a car-dependent position.
