You play a crucial role within the purchasing team of an organization specializing in the construction of exclusive vessels. You ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials and services, monitor costs and quality, and work closely with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
What you do
- Manage purchase orders (process requests, obtain quotes in line with production planning)
- Order processing & expediting: ensure timely delivery and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Maintain operational contact with suppliers and monitor progress
- Accurate administration and reporting of the purchasing process
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
What they ask
- MBO (intermediate vocational education) working and thinking level
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical production environment
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Navision)
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (spoken and written)
- Accurate, stress-resistant, results-oriented, and strong in collaboration
Preferences.
- A purchasing-related education such as NEVI 1
