A large organization within the public utility and energy sector is looking for a Business Change Manager to help shape various strategic transformations. The organization faces many changes in terms of energy transition, digitalization, data management, and operational processes. As a Change Manager, you ensure that these changes are not only theoretical but are also effectively supported and implemented within the organization.
You will join a professional change team and be deployed on one or more complex transformation programs.
What you will do.
- Map the impact of changes on employees, teams, and processes, and translate this into a concrete change approach.
- Guide stakeholders and employees through the change process and create support for new working methods and solutions.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, information sessions, and other moments to inform, involve, and activate employees.
- Maintain an overview and ensure good alignment between various stakeholders and involved teams.
- Work closely with project and program managers and act as a connecting link between business, employees, and project teams.
- Detect resistance and change needs and translate these into concrete actions.
- Share your expertise and experiences within the change team and thus contribute to the further development of change management within the organization.
Profile
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Change Manager / Change Manager, where change management was your primary role.
- Independent and takes ownership, but also enjoys working in a team.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Empathetic and a good listener, but also dares to critically challenge and motivate people.
- Easily maintains an overview in complex environments while also being able to work hands-on.
- Diplomatic, connecting, and solution-oriented.
- Can quickly integrate into a large organization and feels comfortable in an environment where many things are changing simultaneously.
- Experience within the energy, utility, or public sector is a strong asset.
