Project Nurse Neurosurgery, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery

As a Project Nurse, you will be part of the nursing team in a specialized department.

You will be responsible for the total care of patients before and after their surgical intervention and play an important role in their recovery process.

What you will do.

• Provide qualitative and patient-centered nursing care.
• Observe, evaluate, and report on the clinical condition of patients.
• Perform nursing technical procedures according to applicable guidelines.
• Prepare and guide patients for surgical interventions.
• Follow up on patients in the postoperative phase and timely detect points of attention or complications.
• Inform and support patients and their families throughout the care pathway.
• Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, pain teams, and other healthcare providers.
• Actively contribute to a safe and high-quality care environment.
• Correctly register observations and nursing interventions in the patient file.

What they ask

• You hold a bachelor's degree in nursing or a graduate degree in nursing.
• Interest in neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and/or vascular surgery is a major asset.
• 5 years of relevant experience required, plus knowledge/experience in neurosurgery or neurology.
• You have strong clinical insight and work accurately.
• You are stress-resistant and can set priorities.
• You communicate smoothly with patients, family members, and colleagues.
• You are a team player with a great sense of responsibility.
• You have an eye for quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
