Development, maintenance, and modernization of a large-scale business-critical application ecosystem.
- The platform handles high volumes of sensitive data, integrates with multiple external systems, and operates in a highly available production environment.
What you do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across the full technology stack.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs.
- Maintain and evolve complex legacy applications while ensuring stability and service continuity.
- Contribute to the migration from legacy technologies (PHP 5.6/7.4, CodeIgniter, AngularJS, jQuery) towards a modern stack based on PHP 8.2+, Laravel, and Vue.js.
- Improve application architecture, code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Participate in technical analysis, troubleshooting, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, UX/UI specialists, and project stakeholders within an Agile environment.

- Strong experience with PHP and modern JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of a modern PHP framework (Laravel preferred, Symfony also welcomed).
- Comfortable working across both backend and frontend development.
- Strong understanding of SQL, REST APIs, Git, and software development best practices.
- Proven experience maintaining and modernizing legacy applications in production environments.
- Ability to identify and remediate security issues in existing codebases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English is required.

- Experience with Laravel and/or Vue.js.
- Background in application modernization and legacy migration projects.
- Knowledge of application security best practices.
- Experience working on high-availability or mission-critical systems.
- Exposure to Symfony, React, Angular, or similar technologies.

- Target stack: PHP 8.2+, Laravel 12+, Vue 3, JavaScript.
- Database: PostgreSQL.
- Version Control: Git / GitLab.
- Containers: Docker / Podman.
- Operating Systems: Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- CI/CD: Modern CI/CD practices and tools.
