What you do
- Coordinate daily maintenance and facility services.
- Oversee specialized maintenance and the Multi-Year Maintenance Plan (MJOP).
- Manage contracts and suppliers.
- Coordinate the implementation and updating of Risk Inventories and Evaluations (RI&E's) at all locations.
- Develop and professionalize purchasing policy.
- Manage and monitor the tender calendar.
- Connect people and interests, bring structure, and ensure agreements are executed.
- Strategic housing may eventually become part of your duties.
Profile
You thrive in a dynamic environment where many things happen simultaneously. You can switch from a maintenance request at one location to a discussion about a contract, RI&E, or tender, without losing sight of the bigger picture. You are visible and approachable but also dare to make clear agreements. You lead an internal maintenance team and are the point of contact for facility teams. You understand the needs of educational and childcare facilities and know how to reconcile different interests.
You are organizationally sensitive, analytical, results-oriented, well-organized, and a strong communicator. You identify areas for improvement and ensure they are implemented.

- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) working and thinking level.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in facility management, real estate, or a similar work environment.
- Experience with real estate management, maintenance planning, and MJOPs.
- Experience with contract and supplier management.
- Experience with purchasing and tender processes.
- Knowledge of ARBO (Occupational Health and Safety), safety, and RI&E processes.
- Knowledge of relevant public procurement legislation.
- Affinity with sustainability and energy issues.
- Affinity/experience with leadership.
Preferences.
- Experience within education, childcare, or another social or public organization.
