What you will do.

• As Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for one of two specializations: Process & Goods Processing or Customer & Commerce.
• For Process & Goods Processing, you lead the Process & Goods Processing department and ensure well-organized processes, a stocked, and clean store.
• For Customer & Commerce, you focus on the commercial plan, ensure the store meets customer wishes, and lead colleagues in the fresh produce and checkout departments.
• You work with your team to achieve goals and celebrate successes together.
• You stimulate colleagues and give them the freedom to think about their department and the store themselves.
• You develop team members and promote collaboration, which creates a pleasant working atmosphere.
• You ensure that your branch achieves the set goals (turnover, shrinkage, customer and employee satisfaction).
• You empower colleagues and utilize their talents.
• You are an entrepreneur who sees opportunities and seizes them, for example by adding local products or contributing to a neighborhood initiative.
• You are happy to roll up your sleeves and operationally support the team.
• You ensure optimal staffing in the team, including development talks and recruitment of new colleagues.
