As a personal supervisor, you provide support to adults with addiction and psychological vulnerability who are in a precarious situation, such as homelessness. You help them take the first step towards stability and independence. You work methodically and purposefully on recovery-oriented care within a social shelter.
What you do
- You identify care needs and establish indications.
- You offer appropriate guidance aimed at transitioning to independent living or follow-up care.
- You build a professional, trusting relationship with participants and coach them in making positive choices.
- You develop a personal care plan with the participant, translating wishes, needs, and goals into concrete actions.
- You stimulate growth and self-reliance, and support the development of skills for meaningful daily activities and future prospects.
- You actively contribute to a stable, protected living environment.
- You build bridges towards independent living, society, and chain partners.
- You manage your caseload and participate in care planning.
What they ask
- A relevant HBO-level degree (e.g., Social Work, SPH, MWD, Nursing).
- Affinity with the target group of people with addiction and psychological vulnerability.
- You are resilient and capable of working independently and in a team.
- Flexibility for irregular shifts (no night shifts), with a schedule known two months in advance and a fixed weekly day off.
- A Christian background and willingness to share what that means to you.
