Project Advisor Public Space

North HollandHybrid34 hours/week<3months

Working for a local government is meaningful work, with results visible in public spaces. Within the Public Space Policy and Management department, expertise is bundled. The department has approximately 90 employees, divided into three teams. Policy officers, clients, and managers work together for a sustainable future, convinced that a green, climate-resilient, and clean environment contributes to pleasant living. The municipalities concerned will grow by thousands of homes in the coming years.

This offers an opportunity to make the living environment more climate-resilient. The scarce space and increasing use of public space pose a major challenge. Due to the increasing demand for housing, expert attention is needed for the preservation, planting, and management of trees, greenery, and ecological structures. A green future is being pursued, focused on a livable environment where people and animals live comfortably. The public space is designed so that everyone can use it.
