An experienced ICT Contract Manager is sought for a public organization to support operational contract management and the procurement of ICT and information services. The focus is on performing daily tasks, managing existing contracts, and initiating and guiding procurement and tender processes. Collaboration with procurement and legal advisors is expected, with support provided for broader procurement issues where possible.
Identifying and implementing improvements in procurement, contract, and supplier management are also part of the responsibilities.
What you do
- Manage and monitor existing ICT and information contracts
- Keep track of and monitor contract agreements, terms, renewals, and notice periods
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supplier services
- Maintain contact with suppliers and discuss performance, agreements, and potential issues
- Identify and follow up on actions arising from ongoing contracts
- Provide overview and structure in contract management
- Identify procurement needs and independently initiate procurement and tender processes in the field of ICT and information provision
- Lead these processes, from preparation and coordination to execution and completion
- Coordinate with involved colleagues on procurement needs, requirements, tender documents, and contract agreements
- Independently guide broader procurement and tender processes where possible
- Identify and, where possible, directly implement practical improvements in procurement, contract management, and supplier management
- Contribute ideas on how these activities can be structurally implemented
Responsibilities.
- Existing ICT and information contracts are transparent and actively managed
- Contractual agreements, terms, and actions are monitored and followed up
- Agreements on services and service levels with suppliers are monitored and adjusted where necessary
- Necessary procurement and tender processes are initiated in a timely manner and prepared, executed, or demonstrably advanced under the contract manager's direction
- Overview and structure have been applied to contracts, activities, and ongoing files, ensuring good transferability
- Practical improvement points have been identified and implemented where possible
- Concise, practical recommendations have been provided for the structural implementation of procurement, contract management, and supplier management

- Demonstrable education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience with operational contract management
- Demonstrable work experience with managing ICT and/or information provision contracts
- Demonstrable work experience with supplier contact and monitoring contractual agreements
