As a Caregiver IG, you can work intramurally or extramurally (in the neighborhood) for a care organization. You are a proactive person who enjoys teamwork and doesn't mind taking on extra tasks occasionally. Together with your team, you support clients in their daily care and encourage them to participate in activities they are still capable of doing.
What you do
- Support clients in their daily care
- Ensure clients take their medication
- Perform nursing technical actions when necessary
- Establish individual care plans, in consultation with the client, their informal caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team
- Stimulate clients to do activities they are still capable of doing
