As a Cybersecurity Architect with a strong focus on Operational Technology, you will translate the cybersecurity strategy into practical, secure architectures and solutions. You will help embed security requirements into business operations, thereby protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and data. You will contribute to a strategic cybersecurity program that strengthens security, resilience, and operational maturity.
What you do
- Translate cybersecurity objectives into secure ICT and OT architectures.
- Further strengthen cybersecurity maturity within the organization.
- Further integrate OT security and smart assets into the overall security perimeter.
- Apply security standards and methodologies, such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, and IEC 62443.
- Design secure business processes, systems, and technical solutions.
- Develop application inventories, system diagrams, and conceptual/functional architectures.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise security architecture.
- Collaborate on establishing secure connections and integrations with external parties.
- Contribute to cybersecurity strategy, standards, and architectural decisions.
- Ensure that project deliverables are correctly integrated into the security team's operations.
- Support governance, KPIs, roles, and responsibilities to maintain strong organizational hygiene.
Profile
- Minimum 10 years of ICT experience, including:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT architecture.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of:
- NIST, ISO 27K, IEC 62443, and security methodologies.
- Secure system and software design.
- Network and cloud security.
- Security architecture.
- Methodologies for cybersecurity improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex business models and technical environments and translate them into security requirements, preconditions, and solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex security and technical topics to various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of one or more complex operational/business domains is a strong asset.
- Fluent English plus one of the Belgian national languages (Dutch or French).
