What you do
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with the organization's information needs.
- Translate data issues from operational teams into clear and workable data structures.
- Improve existing data models to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure that data models comply with applicable guidelines, security requirements, and legislation.
- Document data models, definitions, and processes to secure knowledge and structure within the organization.
- Coordinate with other departments within the broader governmental entity to align data exchange and standards.
What they ask
- A relevant HBO education, for example in (business) informatics, data science, or information science.
- Knowledge of relational databases, data architecture, and SQL.
- Experience with ER modeling and data modeling software.
- Insight into big data, business data, and physical data models.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
- Flexibility and the ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
