A local news media organization is looking for an independent and driven freelance account manager to expand its customer base. You will be responsible for actively recruiting new advertisers and helping entrepreneurs gain visibility with their local target audience in the region. You will be the commercial face of the news platforms and build long-term collaborations with companies and organizations.
What you will do.
- Actively approach potential advertisers
- Establish contact with entrepreneurs and discover their marketing needs
- Advise companies on advertising opportunities via the news platforms
- Sell advertising opportunities on websites, apps, social media, and video content
- Make appointments, conduct sales meetings, and conclude partnerships
- Independently build a network of local entrepreneurs
Profile
- Experience in sales, acquisition, or account management
- Enjoys approaching entrepreneurs and building relationships
- Independent, entrepreneurial
- Identifies commercial opportunities and knows how to convert them into collaborations
- Affinity with local entrepreneurs and the region
- Experience in the media or advertising industry is a plus, but not essential
Practical
- Independent freelance role with a lot of freedom
