You will join the Safety, Supervision and Enforcement (VTH) team of a government organization.
- The team is responsible for safety, supervision, and enforcement, including recreation parks, migrant workers, and events.
- You will work with a colleague Environmental Law supervisor on the implementation of building and environmental permits.
- The atmosphere is informal, and the team is passionate about its work.
What you will do.
- Actively supervise compliance with laws and regulations within your field.
- Conduct inspections.
- Intervene when violations are found and advise on the correct approach per file.
- Work independently and collaboratively with fellow supervisors, legal enforcers, and other colleagues.
- Identify, interpret signals, reports, and observations, and make well-considered choices about enforcement.
- Provide clear advice on regulations and procedures.
- Act decisively when administrative measures are required.
- Identify risks and deviations.
- Actively contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Stay informed about professional developments.
- Collaborate closely with various internal and external partners, such as the fire department and the environmental service.
- Participate in actions within the Administrative Intervention Team.

What they ask
- Valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG-P) not older than three months, with a comparable job title.
- Completed ABW 1 (Civil Servant Building and Housing Supervision) training.
- Demonstrable work experience as an Environmental Law Supervisor.
- In possession of a B driving license.
- Agrees to the stated secondment conditions.

- Knowledge of or experience with the detection and approach of subversion.
- Experience with advising on enforcement processes and administrative measures.
