You will work on complex issues, from municipal parking garages to shared mobility and parking standards in area developments. You will contribute to an accessible and livable city.
What you will do.
- Work on policy issues that are of strong political and social interest, such as parking standards for new construction sites, the introduction of mobility hubs, and smart permit systems.
- Constantly switch between strategy and practice, connecting parking policy to spatial developments, financial models, and cooperation agreements with developers and corporations.
- Determine the course from a public interest perspective in the interplay between the organization, market parties, and residents.
- Provide advice to management and colleagues, and bring internal and external parties together.
- Maintain an overview in a political-administrative context.
- Act as a sparring partner for colleagues, structure complex policy processes, and be the point of contact for strategic parking issues.

- Minimum of five years of experience in parking policy or area development within an administrative context.
- Knowledge of financial and legal aspects of parking (exploitation, standardization, permit systems).
- Experience collaborating with market parties such as developers, corporations, and commercial parking organizations.
- Strong advisory skills and excellent communication in Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate policy into actionable solutions.
Preferences.
- Professionally oriented training such as the Post-HBO Parkeermanager (DTV Academy) or an active role within the VEXPAN professional network.
