Business Analyst IAM

An experienced Business Analyst with strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Information Security is sought.

  • The consultant will be responsible for translating business requirements into an organization's security model and ensuring the correct implementation of IAM policies and frameworks.
  • The role focuses on access management, security modeling, business analysis, and continuous improvement of IAM processes and services.
  • The ideal candidate combines solid business analysis expertise with practical experience in IAM concepts such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and Information Security standards.

What you do

  • Translate business requirements into the organization's security model and IAM policies.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the security model while maintaining compliance with Information Security requirements.
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Business Modeling process.
  • Deliver high-quality IAM services to internal stakeholders in accordance with security policies, processes, and SLAs.
  • Support the implementation and evolution of IAM architecture based on business, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of access management processes and security models through close collaboration with IAM and Access Management teams.
  • Perform functional analysis on security-related topics across different business domains.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into IAM security models and access management policies.
  • Validate and implement access management services for internal customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
  • Advise stakeholders on IAM architecture implementation.
  • Adapt IAM architecture to evolving business, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the security community regarding the implementation and operation of the security model.
  • Collaborate with Access Management teams to improve process efficiency and the quality of IAM models.
  • Produce business documentation and functional deliverables.
  • Work closely with both Business and IT stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.

What they ask

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience working in cross-functional Business and IT environments.
  • Strong experience in business requirements gathering and functional analysis.
  • Experience in Information Security technologies and processes, including:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Segregation of Duties (SoD)
  • Good understanding of Information Security standards and frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL.
  • Master's degree or equivalent through professional experience.
  • Fluent French or Dutch, with a basic knowledge of the other national language.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Quick self-starter with a proactive attitude.
  • Resilient and autonomous.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Well organized with strong planning and coordination abilities.
  • Result-oriented with rigorous follow-up.
  • Solution-oriented and client-focused.
  • Team player.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Nice to have.

  • Experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
  • Around 5 years of experience in IAM/security technologies and processes.
