What you do
As a Development Lead, you are the linchpin between technology, team, and management. You are not only responsible for developing high-quality software but also play a crucial role in the growth of your team members and the effectiveness of our developments. Your focus is on three main pillars: Leadership & Management, Technical Excellence, and Operational Control.
Your main responsibilities:
- Coaching & Mentoring: Conduct weekly 1-on-1 conversations with your direct reports, coaching team members on their daily tasks, and mentoring them in personal and professional development.
- Team Performance: Lead operational team meetings and be responsible for the team's effectiveness and efficiency, including workload and planning management.
- AI first mindset: Actively develop with AI assistants, Agents, and Skills, and guide the team in a transformation towards AI-driven development.
- HR & Resource Planning: Conduct performance reviews, handle HR matters, and collaborate with People Ops on HR issues within your team.
- Technical Alignment: Ensure alignment between different teams and oversee adherence to compliance and security guidelines.
- Product Development: Work closely with product managers to refine Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), devise technical solutions, and translate them into concrete development tasks.
- Quality & Workflow: Identify and communicate improvements in the workflow, and prepare technical refinements for important issues (e.g., through POCs or documentation).

- Experience: Proven track record in software development and accustomed to leading complex projects.
- Stack: PHP, Javascript / Typescript, Vue.js, Microservices, AWS, MySQL, Docker.
- Leadership: Experience managing a team and energized by guiding people.
- Technical depth: Able to analyze complex problems, apply in-depth domain knowledge, and communicate clearly about them to stakeholders.
- Up-to-date: Continuously update technical knowledge and stay informed about the latest trends in software development, especially AI agentic development.
- Quality-oriented: Experience with DevOps processes, infrastructure management, and monitoring system performance.
- Administratively strong: Ensure accurate WBSO administration and keep documentation in codebases and Confluence up-to-date.
