As a school social worker, you look beyond the request for help alone. You signal, guide, advise, and connect. Together with students, parents, teachers, and external partners, you ensure appropriate support so that students can develop optimally and successfully complete their education.
Profile
- You have a relevant HBO diploma (e.g., Social Work or Applied Psychology) and at least three years of relevant work experience.
- You know how to connect with the students' living environment (home, school, and street) and are able to effectively reach, guide, and motivate them.
- You have knowledge of pedagogy, developmental psychology, behavioral problems, and intervention methodologies, including the use of diagnostic instruments.
- You are well-acquainted with the range of support and collaboration partners within the region (social map); knowledge of MBO education, projects, and pathway opportunities in the region is a plus.
- You are familiar with the qualification law, the Transition Point, and absenteeism guidance within MBO, and possess good digital skills, including working with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
