Clinical adult psychologist or therapist

A multidisciplinary group practice where healthcare professionals collaborate around children, adolescents, and adults. To strengthen the team, an adult psychologist or therapist is sought.

What you do

  • Guide and treat adults with diverse psychological, emotional, and psychosocial issues.
  • Start from the client's unique story, focusing on insight, change, and resilience.
  • Pay attention to the broader context of the client and collaborate with other involved healthcare providers.
  • Perform psychological diagnostics, if aligned with expertise and the client's needs.
  • Provide individual and/or group guidance and treatment.
  • Support clients with advice, information, and concrete tools (psychoeducation).
  • Work contextually with the client's environment, general practitioner, other healthcare providers, or relevant agencies.
  • Define goals with the client and build and follow up on the treatment plan.
  • Contribute to existing group programs or develop new initiatives (prevention and group offerings).
  • Provide necessary reporting and administration (case follow-up).

What they ask

  • Application of your own expertise, interests, and personality.
  • Specific specialization or the desire to further develop in this area.
  • Experience or interest in themes such as stress and burnout, anxiety, depression, relationships, self-image, trauma, sexuality, grief, perinatal themes, or other help requests.
  • Master's degree in Pedagogy or Psychology, or equivalent through experience.
  • Very good command of Dutch.
