• You build and maintain integrated schedules (from high-level to detailed) across engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up.
• You monitor the critical path, identify risks of delay, resource conflicts, and interface issues early.
• You translate findings into clear reports for project management.
• You set up a practical cost control structure.
• You track commitments, actuals, and forecasts.
• You analyze deviations from the baseline.
• You connect planning, costs, risks, and changes into one coherent picture.
• You work at both detailed and portfolio levels.
• You facilitate reviews.
• You coach project contributors and contractors in providing reliable data.

• Extensive experience as a Senior Planner, Project Controls Engineer, or similar within industrial, process-oriented, or CAPEX projects.
• Strong, hands-on experience with setting up and maintaining integrated schedules.
• Knowledge of critical path analysis, progress measurement, and forecasting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Affinity with cost control is a strong plus (commitments, actuals, cash flow, variance analysis).
• Experience with setting up or improving project controls processes is a plus.
• Analytical and structured, but also pragmatic and solution-oriented.
• You dare to critically question input and clearly substantiate your conclusions.
• Fluent Dutch; English is an asset.

Practical information.

• Occasional travel to other project locations.
• The assignment can be carried out as a freelancer or consultant through a specialized partner.
