Sector Consultant

As a sector consultant, you support the tourism sector and partners of a regional organization through communication, advice, guidance, and the development of inspiring initiatives. You will contribute to projects and activities that strengthen and professionalize tourism stakeholders, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

What you do

  • Answer partner questions and monitor sector mailboxes
  • Provide advice, tips, and information on tourism themes, sectors
  • Actively monitor new developments and legislation within tourism, delve into them, and translate them into actionable insights for partners
  • Support administrative processes such as subsidy applications and ensure correct follow-up
  • Be responsible for B2B communication to the tourism sector
  • Write news articles, inspiring articles, and other content for the sector
  • Prepare and send sector newsletters and invitations via communication channels
  • Manage and optimize the sector website and other communication channels
  • Be responsible for accurate relationship management, with a plus for experience with CRM systems
  • Work with a ticketing system for tracking and registrations of events and training courses
  • Collaborate on projects within an internal team and actively think about future projects and opportunities
  • Offer support for initiatives related to guide operations and other sector-specific trajectories
  • Organize networking events, inspiration days, and training courses for the regional tourism sector from A to Z
  • Detect needs and translate them into relevant training and knowledge sharing
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for training courses and events
  • Work accurately and contribute to the quality execution of initiatives

Profile

  • Customer-oriented and helps partners in a professional and accessible manner
  • Strong in communication, both written and verbal
  • Good at organizing and planning. You adhere to agreements and deadlines, and work structured and accurately
  • Accurate and possesses strong administrative skills
  • Takes initiative and quickly learns new systems and tools (e.g., CRM)
  • Interested in tourism and willing to delve into themes and trends
  • Enjoys teamwork and actively contributes to team results
  • Holds a B driving license

What they ask
