Scrum Master Agile Coach
As a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach, you will make an impact on the transition to SAFe within an IT organization of a government entity. Your agile expertise can be deployed broadly. One assignment may require a change manager who can transform processes towards lean/agile, while another may require an experienced scrum master who plays a crucial role in facilitating the Scrum process, coaching teams, and ensuring the application of the Agile Framework.
You contribute to the IT organization within a government entity and work organization-wide, including for various operational units. You are closely involved in the implementation of Agile working within an information provision command and co-responsible for the acceleration the organization needs to achieve in the coming years.
What you will do. Depending on the assignment, your tasks include:
- Facilitating events and processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, refinements, PI planning
- Coaching one or more teams at both individual and team level to deliver optimal performance
- Helping the organization and teams increase their Agile maturity and optimize processes
- Ensuring an open culture within the team, focused on continuous improvement and progress
You participate in an Agile professional group, where you share knowledge with colleagues, exchange experiences, and work on innovative solutions during intervisions, interactive sessions, and the annual Agile day.
Scope of action.
- You take into account laws and regulations, established policies, and relevant guidelines in the execution of your work
- You make independent decisions regarding the approach, content, and realization of your advisory products
- You are responsible to your client, both within your own department and when you are temporarily deployed to other departments
- You ensure good coordination with other policy areas and focus areas
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably demonstrable through a diploma (or capacity assessment) in the direction of technology, business administration, or IT, or a comparable military education
- Extensive knowledge and experience with program and project management methodologies, production techniques, and improvement approaches such as Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
- PRINCE-2 is a plus
- Relevant certifications are a strong plus; consider PSM-I and PSM-II, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practice Consultant, IPMA
- Professional level of Dutch (minimum C1)
Practical
- A security investigation and reference check are part of the selection procedure
- An assessment may be part of the selection procedure
- You must be from a country within the European Economic Area, or possess a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA)
