French Primary School Teacher

Replacement contract for a full-time French homeroom teacher for an international education program.
- The school is accredited and provides education to students aged 5 to 18.
- There are approximately 210 students, and the school offers both a fully Anglophone and a Bilingual (French/English) program.
- The small campus and small groups provide an optimal teaching and learning environment.
- The team is international, dynamic, and collaborative, with a hands-on approach to learning.
What you do
- Contribute towards the creation of a happy, caring environment which reflects a learner-centred, inquiry-based and experiential approach to learning.
- Differentiate teaching & learning to cater for students with various academic and language levels.
- Prepare good quality units and lesson plans in line with international educational standards.
- Organise and set up interesting and relevant school trips for the students.
- Be available and open to providing extra support to the students.
- Be an active member of the school community life by participating in and/or leading school clubs and extracurricular activities.
- Be flexible and open to teaching various grade levels and courses.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in on-going personal and professional development.
- Provide a safe, supportive learning environment for students, teachers and all other community members.
- Plan and collaborate with colleagues on various interdisciplinary learning projects including exhibitions, exams and plays.
- Keep parents informed about student progress and attending parent meetings.
- Keep up-to-date records of attendance, curriculum, assessment tasks and assessment data.
- Prepare student reports and references, and other reports as required.
- Carry out supervision at break times, lunch times and other times as required.
- Participate as required in the preparation for inspections, authorizations and accreditations.
- Prepare documentation for external assessment.

Profile
- A university degree in primary education or related fields.
- Teaching experience, preferably in an international setting and program.
- Fluency in French. Working knowledge of any other language is an advantage.
