French Primary School Teacher

• Contribute towards the creation of a happy, caring environment which reflects a learner-centred, inquiry-based and experiential approach to learning.
• Differentiate teaching & learning to cater for students with various academic and language levels.
• Prepare good quality units and lesson plans in line with international educational standards.
• Organise and set up interesting and relevant school trips for the students.
• Be available and open to providing extra support to the students.
• Be an active member of the school community life by participating in and/or leading school clubs and extracurricular activities.
• Be flexible and open to teaching various grade levels and courses.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in on-going personal and professional development.
• Provide a safe, supportive learning environment for students, teachers and all other community members.
• Plan and collaborate with colleagues on various interdisciplinary learning projects including exhibitions, exams and plays.
• Keep parents informed about student progress and attending parent meetings.
• Keep up-to-date records of attendance, curriculum, assessment tasks and assessment data.
• Prepare student reports and references, and other reports as required.
• Carry out supervision at break times, lunch times and other times as required.
• Participate as required in the preparation for inspections, authorizations and accreditations.
• Prepare documentation for external assessment.
