A specialized company is active in the installation and maintenance of infrastructure for electricity, gas, and telecommunications.

Activities include the installation and maintenance of public and private lighting, medium and low voltage networks, road signaling, electrical connections for individuals, and maintenance of engineering structures and tunnels.
Additionally, gas cabins are set up, pipes are laid, budget meters are installed, and connections for individuals are made.
In the telecom sector, connections for individuals, installation of aerial and underground networks, wired infrastructure, copper, and fiber optic networks are carried out.
Assignments take place on various construction sites in the Wallonia region.

What you will do.

Respect safety, quality, and environmental instructions on the construction site, perform a last-minute risk analysis before starting operations.
Consult utility plans to adopt the best approach.
Prepare equipment and machines, equip the site with necessary installations (PPE, signage…), and secure the surroundings.
Load and secure materials on trucks.
Prepare the ground with a mini-excavator or by hand, perform earthworks and/or excavations.
Plant and unplant different types of poles (medium voltage, high voltage, public lighting, etc.), notably using a crane truck.
Perform finishing touches: backfilling, painting, eventual connection of components (according to permit).
Ensure basic first-line maintenance of used machines and contact technical service in case of problems.

Profile

You possess a C driving license (CE is a plus) and are medically fit.
You ideally have experience in driving and operating a crane truck or are willing to learn (possibility to start as an assistant pole planter/laborer and then evolve).
You are autonomous, rigorous, and organized.
You have a good knowledge of French.

Start of assignment as interim or an immediate contract depending on your experience.
Salary based on experience (construction industry scales).
Meal vouchers of €8 per day.
