Project Leader Social Domain Access (WMO focus area)
For access within the social domain, a municipal organization is looking for an experienced project leader with specific knowledge of the Social Support Act (WMO). The assignment aims to strengthen and future-proof the service provision, work processes, and implementation capacity of the WMO team. The assignment covers four interconnected tasks:
- Optimizing processes within WMO access
- Developing and implementing an approach to address waiting list issues
- Further guiding the implementation of a new contract with care providers
- Gaining insight into and optimizing the production capacity of WMO consultants
The project leader ensures a more efficient and effective setup of WMO access, with the goal that residents receive timely appropriate support and employees are optimally facilitated in their work. This involves managing manageable workloads, a balanced deployment of capacity, and a sustainable improvement of services.
What you will do.
- Analyze current work processes within WMO access
- Identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities
- Develop an improvement plan including prioritization of measures
- Analyze current waiting lists and underlying causes
- Establish an integrated approach to reduce and manage waiting lists
- Formulate concrete measures for both the short and long term
- Set up steering information and monitoring to make progress transparent
- Further guide the implementation of a new contract within the WMO
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in implementation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contracted providers
- Conduct an analysis of current production and work distribution
- Map the relationship between caseload, available and productive hours, complexity of files, expertise and experience of consultants, and quality of service
- Develop a substantiated advice on optimal capacity deployment and task distribution
- Establish steering information and standards that support management and team leaders in capacity planning

- Demonstrable experience as a project leader within the social domain and extensive knowledge of WMO implementation
