Working for a government organization, but not as a military professional? You contribute to a safe Netherlands. You will work within a command dedicated to supporting colleagues, both domestically and internationally, with equipment, supplies, and ICT. The activities are carried out within the Production department of a specialized company for clothing and personal equipment.
What you will do.
- Ensure the issuance and intake of clothing and personal equipment (PGU) items to guarantee timely, correct, and high-quality provision by:
- Receiving and checking clothing and PGU items.
- Processing and handling goods.
- Ensuring that available resources, clothing, and equipment remain in operational condition.
- Delivering and taking back goods at the right time and place.
- Fitting ceremonial clothing.
- Provide feedback on data and information to the team leader to support the progress and quality of the sub-process by:
- Supplying data, such as (un)realized intake, storage, output, and provision.
- Informing about personnel matters and company affairs.
- Initiating and implementing improvements related to operational activities within the sub-process and cluster.
- Acting as a point of contact for employees, customers, and production management.
- Coordinate activities within the CK and CT sub-clusters to effectively deploy available capacity and resources and monitor work progress by:
- Inventorying received assignments.
- Keeping track of the amount of work in the portfolio.
- Determining required capacity versus planned capacity.
- Assigning tasks to employees and monitoring progress.
- Coordinating support for events and projects.
- Signaling ad-hoc changes regarding received assignments and anticipating stagnation by taking corrective actions, investigating causes, and reporting to the team leader.
- Resolving customer complaints and bottlenecks within the sub-process, such as waiting times, incorrect provisions, and inaccurate information.
- Acting as the primary point of contact (POC) for employees within the cluster and customers/units being clothed.
What they ask Education:
- Recognized MBO 3 diploma (CREBO-certified), preferably Logistics Team Leader for the CK coordinator and Fashion and Tailoring for the CT coordinator.
- Driving license B.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating activities.
- Experience with automated systems for logistical processes.
Additional experience requirements for CT coordination:
- Knowledge of the traditional execution of ceremonial uniforms and their use.
- Knowledge of the uniform history of the units of the armed forces.
- Insight into the tasks and organization of regiments and (music) corps within the armed forces.
- Extensive experience working in a tailor shop or a comparable work situation.
Practical
- A security screening is part of the selection procedure.
- A reference check and assessment may be part of the selection procedure.
- You must be from a country within the European Economic Area, or possess a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA).
