The student well-being program is entering a new phase. In addition to developing and strengthening existing successful initiatives, the program will focus in the coming years on the sustainable embedding of student well-being within education, policy, and organizational culture. Structural attention to well-being remains crucial for educating versatile, resilient, and socially engaged students within an educational institution.
What You Will Do. As an Implementation Manager, you operate at a tactical-strategic level and connect the ambitions of the program with the daily practice of the organization. You direct the implementation, scaling, and sustainable embedding of successful projects and initiatives, collaborating organization-wide with various stakeholders.
You are administratively and organizationally sensitive, know how to connect different interests, and ensure that successful innovations do not end as projects but become a sustainable part of the organization.
Your activities include:
- Ensuring the transition from successful project results to sustainable application within the regular organization.
- Developing implementation approaches and directing the scaling and embedding of successful program initiatives.
- Bringing together relevant stakeholders and different interests, and creating support for change.
- Utilizing knowledge of decision-making and collaboration within the organization to create momentum and shared ownership.
- Working closely with project managers to not only develop innovations but also to ensure they have a lasting impact.
- Identifying what is needed to sustainably embed initiatives within the organization.
- Understanding the broader administrative, policy, and organizational landscape and translating this into the right approach, timing, and stakeholder involvement.
- Ensuring the right preconditions and clarity regarding ownership, governance, roles, and responsibilities, so that new working methods become part of regular processes and structures.
Profile
- Experience in directing implementation and change processes within a large or complex organization, connecting various interests and dependencies.
- Experience in scaling successful projects and initiatives and sustainably embedding them in the organization.
- Easily navigating between different stakeholders, creating support for change, and motivating people, even without formal authority.
- Translating strategy and policy into a concrete implementation approach with an eye for what is needed for changes to actually take hold.
- Administratively and organizationally sensitive, with experience in higher education, government, a knowledge institution, or a comparable complex public or social organization.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (C1 level for both).
