Building Permit Officer

• Contribute to granting permits
• Participate in the smooth running of the permit process
• Manage the overall process of granting permits
• Independently handle cases in various areas of building permit granting, such as construction, demolition, driveway construction, work on monuments, organizing events, or operating catering establishments

What they ask

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Building Permit Officer
• HBO level education in a relevant field (Building Engineering, Spatial Planning, or Law) OR MBO+ with demonstrable experience and expertise at a comparable level
• In possession of ABW 1 and preferably ABW 2
• Successfully handled more than 250 cases in various areas of building permit granting independently
• Knowledge and experience with working under the Environmental Law (Omgevingswet)
• Willingness to sign the client's integrity statement after award
• Willingness to provide a valid VOG (Certificate of Conduct), risk areas 1, 4, and 8 (8 only for Social Domain functions), after award
