You will work on the most modern combat aircraft of a national air force. The assignment focuses on maintaining the coatings and construction materials in optimal condition using stealth technology (low observable technology).
What you do
- Perform (corrosion) inspections.
- Register any damage or wear to the coating.
- Repair damage if necessary.
- Contribute directly to keeping the aircraft invisible to radar systems.
What they ask
- Education: MBO 3 or MBO 4 diploma in industrial painting and lacquer processing, metalworking, aircraft sheet metal worker, sheet metal specialist, (car) body repairer/painter, (aircraft) technology, aircraft assembler, or a comparable technical education.
- Work experience: Preferably relevant work experience within a technical environment.
- Language skills: Good command of English.
- Competencies: Accurate, reliable, and independent.
- Willingness to follow a training program to become a specialist in the stealth domain.
- Ample opportunities for further development within various specialisms.
Practical
- A mandatory security screening and reference check (upon request) are part of the selection procedure.
- You must take the oath or promise for civilian employees of a government organization.
- Dutch nationality is required.
- The vacancy is open to both military personnel and civilians, with a preference for candidates who wish to become military.
