An international company is looking for a Shopper Activation Specialist to make an impact on the shop floor. You will be responsible for the development and execution of shopper activation initiatives. Based on strong shopper insights, you will lead the implementation of point-of-sales activities and tailor-made promotions, and secure a state-of-the-art in-store presence. You will work with many different internal stakeholders and disciplines to accelerate visibility on the shop floor.
What you do
- Translate category plans into differentiating and effective shopper activation plans, together with sales and the Category Manager, in line with the Brand Strategy and commercial priorities.
- Proactively propose new shopper activation opportunities, while leading shopper activation development processes (promotional display and POS) and define improvement areas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be regarded as the promotional display/POS expert for internal stakeholders and customers.
- Collect and analyze sell-out data, review shopper marketing initiatives, benchmark, and continuously seek improvements.
- Ensure that shopper and customer insights, needs, and limitations are included in all steps of the promotional display/POS processes.
- Drive portfolio optimization for in-store furniture assets for all brands, while ensuring the development and availability of sales tools like catalogues and shopper content and contributing to presence at trade fairs.

- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a commercial field.
- Recently graduated or 1-3 years of work experience in FMCG business in European retail (food or non-food), and both (customer) marketing and sales.
- Creative and flexible with excellent organizational and project management skills.
