As an interim Environmental Law Jurist, you will work on various issues related to permits, objections, and spatial developments for various municipalities and government organizations. You will assist with legal issues that directly affect residents and the physical living environment, such as housing projects, sustainable initiatives, and area development. You will advise on permit issuance, spatial developments, and enforcement.
You will handle objection procedures, conduct hearings, and represent the client before the administrative court and, if necessary, the Council of State. Additionally, you will contribute to the application and implementation of the Environmental Act, including the environmental plan and the assessment of external environmental plan activities (BOPA's).

- Handling objections and appeals within environmental law and representing the organization before the administrative court.
- Contributing to the design of the environmental plan.
- Actively contributing to the development of policy in the field of permits, spatial planning, and legal quality awareness.
- Assessing changes in laws and regulations and advising on their translation into processes and working agreements.
- Advising the board, colleagues, and initiators on legal aspects of permit applications, spatial developments, and complex initiatives.
- Monitoring legal quality within the team and advising colleagues on dossiers.
- Acting as a sparring partner for the client and colleagues.
What they ask
- Completed HBO/WO degree in Law (preferably with a specialization in Environmental Law).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in environmental law.
- Experience with objection and appeal procedures is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills, analytical, and customer-oriented.
- Politically and administratively sensitive and able to weigh different interests effectively.
- Collaborative and independent.
