For a new documentary series from a production company and a sports federation, I am looking for an assistant editor. The series follows the best Dutch cycling talents during competitions, training camps, and their journey to the World Championships. I am looking for someone to help organize and substantively prepare interviews, competition footage, and behind-the-scenes material for editing.
What you will do.
- Organize and label visual material for the assembly cut
- Select interviews and important moments
- Create select timelines and interview string-outs
- Identify storylines and strong statements
- Potentially pre-edit scenes or sequences
What they ask
- You work accurately and can bring structure to a lot of visual material
- Experience with Final Cut Pro is a strong plus
- The project is built in FCPX
- An affinity for cycling is a bonus
