Project Control Advisor Phasing Manager
The urban development area faces a major transformation in the coming years, including the construction of an underground bicycle parking, an expansion of the station hall, a new bus station, the realization of various building blocks, the relocation of the city ring, and the redesign of public space. The program is currently in the implementation phase and is being executed in phases given the complex inner-city context.
You will be deployed as a project control advisor / phasing manager for this program and for other projects within the projects team.
What you will do.
- Drawing up and maintaining project phasing, project planning, and detailed planning.
- Managing contractual agreements.
- Making choices and consequences transparent, improving, monitoring, steering, signaling, and adjusting them.
- Optimizing and adjusting plans together with project leaders and specialists.
- Proactively advising on the progress and results of projects, project components, products, and activities.
- Monitoring milestones, contractual agreements, crucial relationships, preconditions, and their risks.
- Contributing to clear communication of the integrated planning to inform the board, residents, and other stakeholders.
- Organizing and guiding risk sessions.
- Drawing up and monitoring the risk file.
- Drawing up (progress) reports.
Profile
You will be placed within the projects team and will function from this team within the program organization. You will collaborate closely with the program manager for the project control of the overall program and support the project leaders in controlling the sub-projects. You will work closely with the project leaders and specialists within the project team to draw up, optimize, and update the plans and monitor the phasing.
You will be responsible for coordinating the project control & finance working group, actively participate in the program team meeting, and chair the coordination meeting.
What they ask
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrable work experience in the past 10 years as a project control and phasing advisor within government projects focused on area development.
Preferences.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with drawing up plans for (multidisciplinary) inner-city area development projects at a government organization.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years within a municipal project organization at a government organization (80,000+ inhabitants).
- Demonstrable work experience with planning software: MS-project.
